Coventry Citizens Advice Bureau are currently gathering evidence of how much parents and carers are spending on sending their children to school, including school uniforms, trips and extra curricular activities. 

We know based on the research we did last year that parents and carers on a low income do struggle with many additional costs including school shoes and uniforms. We want to highlight these issues to schools to ask them to look at their policies more closely, we also want to lobby the local authority and other organisations in the city to get parents and carers more help.
