Services Offered: 

Coventry Refugee centre provides information and practical help to refugees and asylum seekers in the Coventry area.

The work of the centre falls into two main categories:

  • help for asylum seekers in the many problems they face with subsistence, housing, health, racial harassment etc
  • help to set up home for those granted leave to remain

The Asylum and Settlement Team are complimented by 8 additional projects:

  • Education (english, IT and 'Living in your Community' course
  • Housing
  • Counselling
  • Art Therapy
  • Youth Group
  • Befriending
  • Women's group
  • Men's group

The Centre gets very busy and operates an appointment only system. Appointments can be made by either ringing or calling in to the Centre before 9.30am.

Immigration work is chargable and fee's need to be paid in advance by cash or cheque.
